    has anyone made custom axles for their bike before? i was planning on doing this for my cr250r and not sure on somethings, such as metal type, hardened, and the grade of the steel. etc. got most of figured it out, just need to machine them out.

    What is the reason for doing this? sounds like a cool project though.

    so i can mount the sumo tires i have on my 250. they are for a kawi but would brather have them on my cr

    i guess so. i know its been done tho, its just hard to find alot of good information on it.. o well, i guess trial and error :p
