I have a 2003 speed four and the only thing I've had to replace was the regulator same as the other guy mentioned, other than that, pure joy

Currently have 3 triumphs and love them all. Have owned other brands in the past, but got hooked after my first test ride on one. currently own a 1970 Trophy 250, 2009 Sprint ST 1050 and 2012 Street Triple 675.

I thought Triumph went out of business a long time ago. My dad used to have 2 of them and both seemed to be strong running bikes.

They did. A venture capitalist came in, bought the naming rights I believe in the 90s, and starting building all new motorcycles. Many (Bonneville, for instance) maintain the look of the old bikes but with all new engineering.

Thats great, I hate seeing any motorcycle brand go out of business. I've yet to ride a bike that I didn't like, Honda, Yamaha, Husaberg, Harley, etc, bikes are just awesome!

I guess you're right, there are only bikes that you enjoy riding less than others but they're all fun!

I put off buying a motorcycle. Mine broke so rather than take a complete bath on the trade, I put some money into it, fixed it up and will keep it for a while. I'm a little bummed about putting off the purchase but my bike is now running better than ever

I had a Thruxton that was a very fun bike. The only thing wrong with it was it wasn't a Speed Triple. After I bought the Speed Triple, the Thruxton and the HD never even moved. I love the character of both my Triumphs, but the rideability of the Speed Triple is terrific.

My Thruxton:
