that bike sounds good, so what makes it part WR? the trans gears?

Thanks! I used a WR trans, only 3-5 gears, 1-2 is fine stock, just needed more top speed for the Open Desert.

The motor is virtually brand new, new crank, all bearings, trans gears, fresh top end by Eric Gorr fully ported and bored to 295cc with a custom head for a little added compression, run 100 octane fuel.

Thing is so fun and light, I am so glad I have a 2 stroke to add to my 2 other 4 stroke machines. Feels about 50 lbs lighter than my CRF450R!

Awesome! I really wanted a YZ but ended up settling for a KX. I still love the bike after adding a fly wheel weight. That wide ratio trans would be nice as well.

Yeah it is really nice, I love it, I had a flywheel weight on for a while but took it off, I think the Rekluse clutch is already much more mass than the stocker acting as a flyweight already, seems more snappy now, but still carries plenty of momentum..

I had a 2005 KX250 that was fun, but my YZ seems to handle so much better!
