    I'd call him lucky because he lived but because he got struck by lightning while riding a motorcycle I would also call him very very unlucky lol.

    Actually the theory is the lightning struck either the antennas that he had on his bike and went to the communication device on his helmet or the lightning actually struck the communication device on his helmet. His helmet isn't metal.

    The crazy part is that the bike kept running and he stayed upright.

    Riders have gone down for a lot smaller things than getting struck by lightning. I couldn't even imagine.

    I worked for a guy who was struck by lightning on his sport bike. he was knocked unconscious but his Girl friend ad the time was on the back She kept him on the bike leaned him forward and grabbed the handle bars. She was able to maneuver the bike off the road without Crashing. She then got someone to call 911 and and got him to the hospital.
