    Cool... so you are rebuilding the entire caliper??? I guess it had more issues than just grim built up on the pistons?

    Keep us posted on how it all goes.

    5100 set to max, pending LSD and TRD CAI
    It looks like the issue is mainly grim but I figured since I had the thing taken appart I may as well rebuild it. BTW the grim is really bad, is there something stronger then brake cleaner?


    Man I can't wait to get on the road :D its been awhile since I've been on a bike; I'm really excited.

    You two are talking about GRIME, right? I do not normally bring up spelling, but "grim" is a word, and has a completely different meaning, as in "he had a grim outlook on life". ;)

    Maybe get a gallon of carb cleaner, and soak it in that. If that doesn't work, maybe try some wheel acid (cleaner).

    Dang... That one got right by me... Thanks for calling me out. :D I knew better.
