so i sold my 04 yz125 today. ready to upgrade to a bigger bike. what do you guys think a 250 ts or 250f or 450f? i have always been a 2 stroke guy and they maintence is way cheaper.

anyone have crf250r's? i hear that they are kind of bad bikes, only cuz its the unicam and its hard on the valves beacuse of the lack of power compared to the 450.

I have a 2007 WR450, which is very similar to the yz 450. It is a wonderful bike. I would suggest any yamaha or, if you have the $$$, a ktm

im not a big fan of ktm's only beacuse i dont want to pay up the nose for parts, and i hear its a pain to get parts and when you do it takes forever!

but they do have some sweet bikes. such as the 150 2 stoke, and the 350 4 sttoke :) they are the perfect size i swear!

Well, Im going to suggest a YZ 250 2T because everyone knows 2T rules. I have an '07 KTM 250 SX that I use for hare scrambles and its been great, paid 3,400 for it last September.

lol, My brother actually has an '07 CRF250R and it has held up well but it is just so slow compared to my bike. If I was to go 4T(which will never happen), I would go with a 450.

When I was looking to replace my '02 KX125, I was looking for a used YZ250 but the KTM came up at a great price and now that the hydro clutch has spoiled me, I don't know that I could go back to cable.

    get a yz250 or crf250r
450 are to prove whos dick is bigger
you can always bigbore a 250 and get some bottom end hit on a slimmer lighter bike.
