    Good looking bike. Doing research on this bike, some reviews said the bike scrapes at even medium lean angles due to the really low seat height. Any truth to this? I'm coming from a sportbike so I'm a leaner in the corners.

    I can't vouch for the 950, but the 650 I had a few years back never had a problem scraping, even with floorboards. Not to say it didn't now and again when I was having more fun than I probably should have been though. :D

    Enjoy the bike, man. I really miss my 650. I regret selling that bike all the time.

    It's a wonderful handling bike...love it.

    CoalMedic...the bike does set low and yes...I have read and heard guys talk about scraping the floor boards in the yamaha forums. Some guys say it's the riding style with the riders that scrape the boards....I have taken a couple nice rides here in WV...We have some nice winding "motorcycle" roads here and I have not scraped the floor boards on mine.
    She is a very nimble and agile bike to ride. Love it!!

    Yep...enjoying my bike very much. I see you have the tourer. Nice looking bike.
    I am about ready the order a sportech windshield. My backrest and luggage rack(yamaha accessories) should be in this week....I hope. They've been on back order.
