Check out Decyfer Down. The only cd of theirs I have is Crash... There might be better.

They are a "christian" rock band, but they aren't bad.

This was the song I meant to post.

It's not the real music video, its something someone on youtube put together.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Skillet...

Another "christian" band, but they are pretty good.

These are off their new album.

Edit: Oh yeah, they have two chicks in the band, drummer and guitar.... That never hurts either.

This is off their older album Comatose. Its not a very "radio" album, but still good.

I like Breaking Benjamin.
Try: Thousand foot krutch, Framing Hanley, three days grace, sick puppies, and the such.

one that hasn't popped up yet is Shinedown. I'm not sure
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8dyxGiBx3g

only into Christian bands?
do us a favor, don't listen to Nickelback please, I think Canadians are ashamed of them now.

I didn't even think about disturbed, I figured everyone knows who they are by now and are probably a little heavier than OP was looking for... I can always recommend heavier

Does Trapt actually have any good songs besides headstrong and still frame?

Im a guitar player and like some of Breaking Benjamins songs. So you might appreciate these bands.

TOOL is my absolute favorite along with A Perfect Circle as a close second
Disturbed
Five Finger Death Punch
Bullet for my Vallentine (especially their Scream Aim and Fire album)
and
Godsmack

Just to name a few but should give you a good base of a little bit different areas that I like and I like

I don't think Trapt has any other good ones. I'm a bigger fan of the heavy stuff.
