All 6 of our group survived...

Night 1 was madness...We all had no idea what to expect. For the most part we were all too hammered drunk and we quickly got split up. Didn't even make it to the KineticField. Raged like crazy to Aoki & AfroJack - they did their crowd surf in the inflatable raft routine nearly 100yds out in to the crowd...sooo sick! Stayed til roughly 430-445 and made our way out to the shuttles...this sucked huge donkey balls. Our shuttle was AWOL and it took us approx 4 hours to make our way back to the Flamingo - 2 hours of waiting for another shuttle and 2.5 hours of bumper to bumper traffic.

Night 2 started out better but came to a screeching halt somewhere around the 2am mark due to heavy winds. The very large and elaborate stages and all the carnival rides were visibly moving with the wind. Sucked huge nuts, but in the end was probably worth it. Even so, this sucked bigtime because Saturday night had a monster set list - huge names consecutively at the same stage from about 8pm-530am were scheduled. Supposedly (someone told us about a twitter post by him) somewhere around the 5am mark Aoki did a set on a mobile stage. We made our way out to shuttles approx. 4am.

Night 3 madness again, but we at least had our bearings and meeting spots cemented. Spent 3 solid hours in the very front of KineticField - got to see Guetta>Avicii>AVB right in a row. If there's ever a video released, my buddy and I will surely be in it as we were about 3-4 people from the center divider, right side and 5-8people back from the front wall. I brought an inflatable pool surf board thrown out from the Qstage and launched it 2 songs in to Guetta and was right in front of the boom camera. After AVB we went over to Neon Garden for Bingo Players..fuck that was another sweet set.

It was unbelievable how massive the infield of the speedway is and just as crazy with 300k+ people in it. Definitely an experience of a lifetime!!!

 

Nicel, Chatted with our waitress tonight in Kelowna, she mentioned she seen Avicii at EDC Vegas, i was like WTF no way. She said she got back 16 hours ago and stuck out her wrist and said, I dont remember getting this. A tattoo lol

 

it was crazy, i can't explain it. Something everyone has to do once for sure.
