Not the best video. I'll try and find a better one. Smokin Joe puts on a good show.

I am guessing you are talking about AGF? If so, that is the other website I check in on when I fire up the computer in the AM. Cant get enough of it.

He is a great guitarist and always gives a lot of valuable input over there.

Also, not sure if any of you have seen this:

    http://research.culturalequity.org/home-audio.jsp

It's Alan Lomax's (one of the biggest producers ever in the blues/folk/americana genre of the 40's-70's) collection of recordings. Lots of raw uncut stuff that's great. Live shows from the 50's and 60's with a bunch of big names like Big Bill Broonzy, Mississippi JOhn Hurt, Fred McDowell, Bessie Jones, etc.

Yup! I'm not as active over there as I used to be, but I'm a charter member and have been on the site for about 5 years now (username is prsplayer12).

I've bought a few of Toby's lessons and talked to him a few times - he's a great teacher and a huge source of knowledge. Makes things look easy until you try yourself. lol

What do you play? I just recently bought a second Eastman that I love. Been mostly playing Dobro lately though.

Nice! My name is the same as here. I have an old Guild F-30R from westerly, and a Taylor Big Baby as my take around guitar. I have been looking into getting a dobro, but not sure if I would play it as much as I would want to.

Have been playing for about 15 years now and it consumes more time from me than I care to admit. LOL....But after my days of playing in bands in college, I'm all about fingerstyle blues and write a lot of instrumental songs.

solid! I almost bought an older Guild M-120 but ended up with my first Eastman (an E6-OM) instead. Just picked up an Eastman AC720 a few months ago and it's a beauty :) lol I've been playing for about 13 years technically, but it was always just fooling around until a few years ago when I started getting a lot more serious about it. now i'm all either fingerstyle blues or flatpicking bluegrass.

I've started getting to the point that I'm reserving the guitar for my blues and dobro for bluegrass. Didn't really intend to, thats just the way it happened. haha

Anybody listen to Walter Trout, ranked as one of the best guitarists in england behind Page.

I love Elmore James. And BB King. And Muddy Waters and JLH. Lol I like Walter trout too.. I would personally put Clapton ahead of Page, but that's just me. Lol I've never been a huge Page or Led Zeppelin fan..

Also, check your PM's lol I sent you one the other day.
