Haha, we like that shit cause were old and we still remember guys like Beck, Allman, Betts and the other greats from that era- turn that shit up and rattle the dishes.

You gotta like Joe Bonamasa-

Ahhh... yes I always liked Stevie, remember when he played on that David Bowie album (church on time or some crap)? Hated his brother, though.

Excellent post "bucktales"! The year I was born! I guess I was trying start a thread about actual real musicians that are still around & putting new music out 'today'. I heard Jeff is putting a new one out, again. I was like Stewie Griffin & his "WHAAAAA?" Gotta luv the guy!

+1

I still have my Wired and Blow by Blow albums.
I never liked Rod Stewart, so I cant listen to those songs.

Nice one! He is an amazing drummer. Here's my favorite drummer in action. He was 62 when this video was shot! If I'm in half as good condition when I hit 62 I'll be thrilled.

Awesome "Cornholio"! I like the ride/crash cymbal action. I forgot all about Carl after Asia.
Here's my favorite drummer of all time (of course):

My favorite video of a drummer:

My favorite cover (girl):

As they say, how many drummers does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Only 2 'cuz one can always do it better &/or say, I can do that.

David Gilmour!
Yeah, good one Nick. The list goes on & on. Adrian Belew, Al Dimeola, Robert Fripp, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jimi, Jimmy Page, Schenker brothers, Alex Lifeson, Joe Walsh, I could go on for hours... But I gotta get back to work. Till next time

I saw the Time Machine Tour in San Antonio! I will correct my previous post and say that Neil is my all around favorite drummer and Carl is my favorite soloist by a slim margin over Neil. I saw the Clockwork Angels Tour opener in Austin last year too, and had a great view of Neil from about 10 rows back from the corner of the stage.

Drummers: Bonham, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, etc. One of the more underrated ones is Terry Bozzio. Here's a great solo. It really kicks in at 2:41

Guitarists: The obvious as well as the aforementioned. But one of my all time favorites who typically gets overlooked is Danny Gatton. This live version of Opus De Funk will melt your face:
