Hey there in Tacomaworld,
I saw we didn't have one yet and i think it would be cool to see if any of us TW members happen to be going to the same shows. Just throw up what concerts/festivals you plan on hitting up this summer.

My list includes:
The Hangout Music Festival Gulf Shores, Al May 14-16th
Phish (Both Nights) Alpharetta, Ga July 3rd and 4th
All Good Masontown, WV July 8th-11th
311 Virginia Beach, Va July 14th
Possibly more

 

Picnic day tomorrow April 17th in Davis CA.
Brooks and Dunn April 23 in Sac CA.

Going to Attend:

April 25th(maybe) - Ben Harper & Relentless 7 w/ Guster - Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre - Alpharetta, GA
April 30th (still deciding which to attend) - Sevendust w/ nonpoint - The Tabernacle - Atlanta, GA -or- Alexisonfire - Masquerade
July 17th - 311 w/ pepper and The offspring - Lakewood ampitheatre - Atlanta, GA (Will be my 8th time seeing 311, I missed last summers show)
August 1st - Rockstar Mahem Fest w/ Rob Zombie & Korn - Lakewood Ampitheatre - Atlanta, GA


Will probably end up attending some other shows as well. I love summer time music i'm at some sort of music event atleast once a week.

 

My friend is going to picnic day. I heard it is basically a bunch of people drinking all day.

As for concerts, I am going to Rockstar Mayhem Festival. and not sure what else yet.

I'll be hitting mostly local bands/5 dollar cover or less in VA~ saving money and the cater to the crowd more most times.

311 - Halloween concert playing their first album "music" in its entirety @ the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta - 10/31 (yeah yeah its not technically summer but its going to be so epic its worth adding)

 

Sheryl Crow and her new band for the 100 Miles from Memphis tour rocked last night @ Meadowbrook Cellular Amphitheater outside of Laconia NH
She had an awesome brass section, 4 guitarists and two drummers plus a couple of soulful backup singers/percussionists.
Colbie Caillat opened the show.

Its was a beautiful night on Lake Winnipesauki. Nice venue for sure.

Aug 28 in GA. It the annual Birthday bash!

 

I've already seen Collective Soul and Meat Loaf this year.

Going to see Aerosmith and J. Geils at Fenway tomorrow!!

 

Lalapalooza

 

Road trip tomorrow to see Dierks Bentley in Temecula at South Coast Winery.

 

I have already seen 311, Pepper and Offspring last month and the Deftones last weekend.

Will see The Doobie Brothers in Sept.
