Hey, the site and the trucks look great. Need some help with mine, thinking of getting a 3'' lift and new tires. Need a tire that's good in the snow and offroad. Any suggestions?

Hey Ryan welcome to TW.......I'm in Saint John and am running Goodyear Duratracs and like them a lot. They have a fairly aggressive tread pattern but are well mannered on the street and seem to be wearing well. They are also snow certified stamped.

I'm runnning stock tires during the summer, until they wear out. I got studded winter tires for when the snow flies.

I'm also thinking about a 2.5" or 3" lift. There are a few options. I've been looking at two of them from Toytech.

Here is one of them. The other is the kit that includes the Bilsten 5100's

From what I understand, if you go 3" you will HAVE to install new upper control arms in order to be able to set the alignment properly. The stock UCA's won't have enough adjustment.

Hey NB, Maine Taco owner here. Had my 2010 SR5 rear spring TSB lift done & will be putting Bilstein 5100's on the front to level it out. Currently running tires it came with, looking around at options for fun running. Enjoy the site lots of stuff & friendly people!!!

 

if you're in to wheelin your best bet would be to stay away from spacer lifts imo, x2 on the duratracs theyre good in mud and snow
