First post here. With many to follow I'm sure since I feel I am at the stage where I need to stop taking my '02 Tacoma and Toyota quality for granted and start doing some maintenance beyond 3k oil changes, tire rotation and air filter replacement.

I need to make a checklist of what I really need to do maintenance wise from here on out. 83k on my truck, I love it. Bought it new in 02 and want it to last many more years, been great so far but I know it's getting to the age, mileage where I need to do some fluid changes beyond the engine(tranny, transfer case, cooling stsytem, etc..) and also I haven't changed the plugs and wires yet. Yeah I know I know, should have been done before now. but damn, that's the danger of a quality vehicle where you have zero problems with it.

BTW...when I get a chance I will post some pics in the appropriate forum of my truck. Nothing special, but I will also post picks of what it looked like at 36k miles after being rear ended by a semi on an interstate....and pushed into a Ranger in front of me....scray as hell....12k in damage. Thankfully repair shop was top notch and haven't had any issues since.
