New to this Forum. This is my first Toyota truck, I had F150s before and after being disappointed time after time made the plunge and got a taco. I love the truck and use it 30percent of the time to tow a 25 foot travel trailer (have the tow package). I would like to see if I can get a couple more horses out of the engine.

Thank you all for the welcome. As for the 150's they where gas hogs esp when towing, the first one had a 302 in it and the next the 4.6L. With the last 150 the engine would stall at low speed, I would take it the the dealers ( more than one in different states) and they would replace the " idle sensor" but it would only last for 2 to 4 months before it would go out again ( I found it very unnerving driving at 10mph and the engine shuts off). The ohter anoying thing was that when the transmission would get hot it would slip out of 4wd. I had no problems with the taco and even though it has a smaller engine it is able to tow the trailer and get better gas mileage.
