    Greetings,

First of all I would like to give a shout out to this whole community, amazing forums, lots of knowledge and a great place for truck lovers. especially the TACO guys.

Now, like all young guys when I got my license, I was into fast cars and stuff. so when I saved up some money got a Dodge stratus R/T, loved it, was fast, until one day.....

"The 2010 MD Blizzardocalypse" this is when we had three snow storms, throwing more then 2 feet of snow across east coast. My first car, barely 3 months old. lost it's front bumper due to the snow and ice. I spun countless times and I am very lucky i am here today. Finally the storms ended but I started wondering that i should better invest in a Truck or a 4x4 wheel drive. and for for the next 8 months I did my research and figured that a Tacoma is the best. I wish to be better prepared this winter and hey have lots of fun wheelin on the snow.

    Though I have a concern.
Every website classes Tacoma as Pre Runner, X runner.
    which is Mine?

Here are few pictures I took recently.

    Welcome to TW!

You don't have a prerunner or an x-runner. Those are both 2wd. You have a 4wd TRD off road. This means you have 4wd and an electronically locking rear differential. Very useful offroad.

    Build thread in sig...
prerunner is sumply saying you have the higher up suspension (higher than base models or the x-runner). so if the websites you're looking at don't give a 4x4 option, choose prerunner.

    and welcome to the forum!
