Hi all. I'm on my fifth Tacoma. My First Toyota was an SR5 EXcab '86 2WD. I also had an '82 Mazda pickup that I put a 302 Ford engine and auto into. It was kind'of like a pickup Mustang-oldschool. Tiny cab though. I also had a Mitsu 2wd pidkup that was pretty nice until the carb went bad. Then I got a Tacoma and never went back. Anyway, I really love the Taco's. Comfy and reliable. I don't beat it and it's great. I just had the frame rust recall done. I didn't have any rust, but thought it would be a good idea to have it checked and redone to help the longevity of the truck. I really don't take it offraod, but am not afraid to if the need arises. It has never towed anything, but I got some nice folding ramps that are good for putting my snowblower in the back to help my daughter out if I need to. Anyway, this is a great forum and I'm glad to be part of it. I've spent a lot of time over the last few years on the Miata forum for V8 guys. That's what I did for my '91 Miata (Ford Mustang 5.0/5speed). I have to admit that I have a great combination of vehicles to drive. Cheers.
