Tacoma's are like crack to me!

Hello all.

I'm new to the site but not to the wonderful world of Toyota, I currently own a '07 FJ Cruiser lightly modded. (lift tires, etc.) Anyway, lately i've been thinking that a truck would better suit my needs and that 4 full doors would be more practicle since my family is slowly growing. I'm particularly fond of the 2005-2009 Tacoma Quad Cab, but am a little unsure about what options come with trim.

So lets talk Tacoma.

Could someone tell me whether or not it's possible to get the rear diff lock with just an SR5 package? If not, What sort of options or accessories comes with the TRD offroad pkg.

If I end up selling my FJ and getting a Taco I will most likely replace the suspension with OME and the tires with something a little more aggressive than the Duncraps. So would it be neccessary for me to go with a TRD pkg?

Thanks in advance!

Rob

Lethbridge it is, I call it Deathbridge every once in awhile due to the semi-frequent suicides from the High Level Bridge.

welcome. the offroad will give u the beefier front coils, bilstein HD shocks, e-locker, bed outlet, upgraded seats from the sr5, and i cant remember what else. i think u can get the locker as an option, but it might be hard to find an 08 w/ one since they're already all built. the 09's have a few more electronic perks then the 08's
