Recently sold my 01 4Runner SR5 with 265,000 miles for $5500. It still ran great, had many new parts and a 2" Sonoran Steel lift. (See below pic. This was wheeling at an offroad park near Troy, MO a couple of years ago)

It was my first Toyota and I loved the truck... So much that I just purchased a (new to me) 2008 Tacoma doublecab TRD Sport. I was worried that I wouldn't like it as much as the 4Runner, but WOW!! What a truck! Toyota hit the sweet spot on size, utility, practicality, and its hands-down the best looking truck on the road. Sure, it can't move a mountain [like the old F250 diesel I had 7 years ago] instead, it climbs over it!

Crawling the site for over a month was all it took to have me convinced that this was going to be my next truck.

I bought the truck from an owner who took excellent care of it. I paid a fair price and was happy with the purchase. Let me know what you think....

Thanks for putting together such a useful site!

Man I love that generation 4Runner. Your 4Runner looks great. But your truck looks better
