Hello everybody, it's nice to finally be a member after a couple years being an "outsider" after buying my first tacoma. I love hearing about what everybody is doing to their trucks out there, it is has been very helpful in giving me ideas as to what i want to do to mine. I have lot of mods i would like to add to my truck yet the only thing I have done is get new wheels and tires. It's going to be a long and expensive process, but a fun one.

I have some mechanical experience having been in the Army as a equipment operator and occasional mechanic, but don't know "much" about modifying vehicles. So i'm gonna go ahead and thank everybody in advance for any advice or suggestions I might receive in the future because I definitely have lots of questions.

Welcome!!! I'm 35 miles north of Joplin. Look up Jones Mudfest on net (forget actual URL), Lockwood Mo. A neat close by area that has some trails and mud action. I went to an event this past spring and it was fun. Congrats! Pics!?!?!?

Nice looking rig man. Did your Taco come with black headlights? Looks like a truck with some TW influence. Love the wheels. Enjoy the snow.

Thank you...no it didn't come with the lights. Im about to replace these with the stock lights or put some windshield glue around the seal after they dry out. They are starting to fog up

Oh crap! Mine fogged a little Tuesday after plowing into 3 ft. deep drift. After spending about 8 hrs. on those mothers this passed Sunday, I'm gonna be hacked if they chronically fog. I did use the 3M window weld so should be GTG.

No kidding. Its like peer pressure on some kind of telepathic level. I resisted for 10 months thinking: "why in the hell would I wanna burn all day on a mod that doesnt look that great and risk jacking up a 600$ in parts?"
Then finally it breaks you down and your like, man I gotta do that.
Rational thought processes are basically beaten out of you at that point. But man I do love it and the WIFE even commented on the improvement.
