    First, let me express outrageous gratitude for the forums on here. I found Tacoma World thru a search on " '09 Tacoma problem", and found the thread that listed the 26 TSB's for the '09 Taco. Census details: 46, married, no kids, one dog, three cats (plus two of the neighbors' cats that stop by for regular visits. Truck (don''t laugh too loudly): '98 Nissan Frontier extended cab 2WD, 130K miles (100K of them mine). Started looking for a Tacoma, and found one at a dealer: '09, under 18K miles, SR5, 4WD. None of the TSB's have "needed to be done" on the truck, according to the salesman. I am still not convinced on going with any '09, as even Consumer Reports gives the '09 2WD & 4WD models, both 4cyl and V6, the dreaded "black circle" rating.
