Lauren, the ODO got stuck at 89k, moved for a little while, intermittently but that was going on two years ago, I think theres about 300+k on it. I just go and have the oil changed at the beginning of every other month.

Wow, Ken, that's a stunning number of miles. You really DID get the money out of this one!

So, the next million dollar question is when you're replacing it. I'd guess "when it falls apart," but as much as it's taken so far, that could be ages. ;)

Edit - nevermind, just saw your prior post on the newer truck . . .

Great story Ken! I'm glad to see a 2nd Gen go through what yours has and keep on ticking. My last Yota (88 4Runner) had around 250,000 miles when the odometer quit working. By the time I sold it at around 300,000 to 350,000 miles the engine still ran like new.

I had to get this one because of the size of what I tow, it is huge and not fun to drive its a 350 diesel and sits in the garage plugged in most of the time.

I dropped my tailgate the other day without cleaning off the ice that was frozen to my back bumper. Needless to say the ice left a small dent in my tailgate, which was my first self inflicted dent in my 2010. After seeing your truck I don't feel so bad about my first dent.

Taco will tow a loaded 24ft trailer no problem, but the fuel economy is horrible.
