Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting a 2010-2011 Tacoma 4x4 double cab, I currently drive a 2006 silverado duramax and love the truck but i've always loved the tacoma. Has anybody else made the switch and regret the decision? The reason i'm thinking of switching is because i rarely tow anything and don't need a big truck, the only reason i've kept it is because it gets awesome mileage and it's almost paid off, 16-17 city and 20-22 highway from a FS 3/4ton. My commute is 95% highway and will tow occasionally but very rarely, any help will be greatly appreciated. Also what kinda of deals are toyota dealerships willing to give for a purchase?

    Thx,
    Sergio

Here are some pics of the Dmax

Just went to test drive dcsb and dclb 4x4's, still not sure which to get, going from a full size to a compact is a big difference. Overall I think the v6 and auto are smooth and powerful. Will be deciding in 2-3 weeks after I close with my home purchase. Thanks for all the help guys

Nice truck! Get the long bed in my opinion. Ive got an Access cab and the 6 foot bed is a must man. i do like the look of the shortbeds more though.

The plan is to leave this as stock as possible thats why i'm going with a trd sport as it looks better then the trd off road, imo. I think i'm going with a dcsb, now just have to go haggle the 3 closest dealerships in my area to get the best price possible. I'm hoping to get a 2011 trd sport dcsb 4x4 v6 auto in magnetic gray, msrp's vary from 32,334-32,680... What should i go in offering for the truck
