    From what I have seen, if you have the camera installed, all you need is the mirror. If you look in the headliner right by the mirror, the corresponding connection should already be in place. If you look on youtube, there is a video from one of the companies that installs aftermarket mirrors like the OEM ones.

    Some of the trucks 2009+ come prewired with the camera but no mirror. Think the base versions come this way. Its odd I know... but thats the way some of them come.

    Yes I bought the truck new. I just received a Gentex 3.5 rear camera display. I just need to find the 'do-hickey" to tighten the mirror and then I am alllll set.
