k/n air filter for 2.7

    Hi, I;m ron from ft.myers,fla. and i just joined the club,i have a 07 white tacoma base and was wondering if anybody as used a k/n air fiter on the 2.7 engine and got better mpg or better take offs,please let me know if you have this info..thanks,ron from fla.

    You might want to check out the buy/sell/trade section for the air filter...everyone is always changing something out on their trucks, you're bound to find one eventually.

    Im Ron as well, same truck.. i have the air filter, and i noticed a little more power.. not alot, but no mpg

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    The difference between the OEM filter, and no filter at all, is about 1.5 hp. which is well within the margine of error of the dyno... So....A K&N isnt going to give you anything over the OEM filter.
