Tell me about it, already thinking, planning. So far it's just the all weather floor mats and the custom canopy for the dogs. Thinking of a small lift, and then maybe a front brush/deer guard, +/- lights... and winch? Hmmm... And some step bars? Probably need to wait until after the long drive and associated expenses though. Oh, and some weathertech for the hood and windows.

Never had a vehicle I actually gave a crap about before. This is all sorts of interesting. Already smeared horse manure on the carpet inside though. So it's been initiated.

Yep, PCS to TX this May. :) I'm graduating vet school, and then I report for duty to run the vet clinic and take care of all the border patrol dogs and horses, do the food inspections, run the base clinic, dog bite/rabies stuff, that sort of thing. It's gonna be one heck of a change of pace from being a full time student the last eight years.

I've heard that PreRunners are common down south? The dealer here doesn't even have them in stock here, 4x4 is standard and the only thing that will get you from A to B in winter unless you're a bit creative.

Welcome from NW Florida. Nice color on the truck. That was my first choice, then I saw a SW Blue one and fell in love. Mine is SUPPOSED to be here this wednesday. Like you it's my first TACO.

You guys aren't kidding about hiding your wallet. I haven't even made my first payment and I'm itching to start modding. Love the avid sliders, and the idea of blacking out the badges. Now just need an extra few hundred $$ to get started.

I think I am safe in the hiding the wallet thing. Age here is 65 so all I want is a nice ride and one that gets good gas mileage. I have 2 sons that live in Texas. Dallas area. One drives a FJ cruiser and the other is also Toyota.

:D No problems. It's interesting to see where things go. :) The whole 'military service' thing is pretty relevant to me, anyway.
