    I had to say goodbye to my first Tacoma yesterday. After 195,000 miles, she started leaking above the windshield. When the windshield was replaced several years ago, they screwed it up and nicked the paint. It started rusting, and just recently started leaking through. It sucks, because that was the only rust on the vehicle.

    I also got to say hello to my second Tacoma. I just got an '09 DoubleCab TRD offroad SR5. I LOVE it. I can't believe how much bigger it feels as well as how much better the ride is.

    I'm not sure yet on mods. I spent more on this than i planned. I went to St Louis this weekend to buy an '06 but when i got there it was beat to hell and it was a smokers vehicle. I was pissed at the sales guy because he specifically told me it wasn't a smokers vehicle when i asked. I'm also not sure how it passed all the certified preowned tests.

    I got lucky and found an '09 at the Hyundai dealership next door. I wheeled and dealed and got what i was looking for.

    I'm extremely happy with what i got.
