    Bought an 02 2.7 5sp 4x4 standard cab w/100,000 miles.
Replaced the rotors and calipers to get it to stop (pretty easy job).
I'm impressed with this little truck.

Thanks for the nice welcomes -
    Story about this truck ---

My past experience with Toyota is I purchased the same truck brand new in 1990 but it had the 3.0 v6 (which I wasn't impressed with). Kept it five years and it never let me down - sold it with 125,000 miles on it. -----
I find myself needing something to drive that gets decent mileage (3.99gal!!).
Did a little reading up on the 2.7 and found someone local that let me test drive it and decided to find one to buy. Had a hard time finding one that was stock - not messed with - but this one runs and drives like a new truck.
Oh - one thing about the first Toyota in 1990 - I was a tool and die maker in a large UAW shop and the president of the union local.
    I took a little heat for that truck - - -
