Hi, new here and I do not own a Tacoma...but am considering possibly buying a small 4x4 truck at the end of summer during the 2011 model year close out season (if I can convince the wife we need it!) :)

So mostly here just to sniff out how Tacoma owners feel about their trucks & do some research on what the best options/setups are as compared to what I think I'd want/need.

So far in my research it seems the Tacoma is the obvious choice over its competitors in the mid-size truck market. They do tend to be a bit pricier, but appear to be worth the extra coin up front, no?

Anyway, I'll probabaly mostly be a lurker but I am sure I will have a few questions! :) So thanks in advance for putting up with a prospective buyer who just needs to gather intel! :)
