Hey everyone! Great forum you have here. Just Bought a Tacoma and I'm dragging the bottom on the sand at Padre Island. I Checked around, and I think this is the best site to get help. I guess I'll ask in the correct section, But hope I don't get bashed too hard.

Wow, thanks everyone! Ya'll really know how to make a person feel welcome. I just finished purchasing my lift, and I'm waiting for it to show up. I am going to run bilsteins set at 2.5 with a rear aal, diff drop and carrier bearing spacer. Think I will have any problems? I'm sure ya'll are way more experienced in toyotas than I. I have lifted 2 jeeps,1 samurai, and a ford in the past. I know the negative stuff inherant to all lifts, but is there anything special about Tacomas?

I dont know much about Billie's personally, but the AAL in the rear you will need a different rear shock. When i did my AAL with stock shocks, the ride was very rough and when i hit a speed bump or hole, the rear would bouce alot. The only negative thing i can really say about lifting the toyotas is the UCA's having to be replaced on certain ones. Ive had mine lifted for almost 5 years 3 different kinds of lifts and still love the hell out of it. No vib's no rattles..... knock on wood
