Howdy all, my middle sliding section of my rear glass slidder shattered the other day, and I'd love to be able to find just the middle section instead of paying around $300 or so to have entire rear glass slider replaced and installed. Anyone got any ideas on what to do or have a that part their willing to sell?? Let me know please, thanks!

Someone here replaced it with plexiglass after they found what the cost at the dealer was.

I replaced the side windows with lexan on my truck. You can't use standard window tint on it but the spray-on tint that people use on their tail lights would probably work great.

Cost is materials, consumables, and time. Not too bad.

My understanding is the whole rear window has to be replaced. This coming from a buddy that owns a glass shop. I haven't done any research tho.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
yeah...they dont see just the center portion. I had to have the entire back glass replaced after mine was broken into there. Free glass coverage in Sout Carolina, FTW!!

Thanks for info! I'm going to try out the plexiglass for time being and see if that can get me by for a bit. Yea all I've been told by glass shops or salvage places is the entire section has to be replaced. Will see how it goes, thanks guys!
