Just found this forum searching for fixes for my minor problems, i.e. dead overhead console and ticking in the blower fan.

I normally work on my '56 VW baja Bug, hense the name, and have always used it for everything online. But, funds have gotten short and it's sitting in the garage waiting till I can afford to build a roll cage for it.

I bought my Tacoma new in 06 in Florida and drove it to Alaska and now that the warranty is expired I feel comfortable doing what stuff I can afford to it. So, I've gotten excited reading all the cheap mods and fixes I can do and look forward to doing them. I'm glad everyone here has made a great forum.

Hope I don't come off as sounding too cheesy.:)

It was exactly 5,236 miles from Panama City, FL to Prince Rupert, BC where we hopped on the ferry. Then another 95 miles from Whitter, AK, where we were dorpped off, to Anchorage.

Welcome! Nice to see more people on here from the Anchorage area. I'd like to see those pics as well. I've probably see your truck around Elmendorf.
