Hi I thought I'd drop a note and say hello. I just subscribed yesterday and have been looking around a bit. I picked up an 05 Tacoma DC TRD Offroad about 3 weeks ago and still getting used to the new ride. I sold a '62 Willys I owned for 30 years (hard to part with that one...) and opted for the Tacoma. I needed a newer vehicle I could actually commute in if necessary but wanted something off-road capable. This one came with a Rev-Tek 3" lift and 285/75-16s on it. I've been doing a bit of reading some of the threads on fuel mileage, tire rub, etc. I also want to see if there is a way to add USB and/or XM capability to an '05 via a newer factory radio. Lots of info out there and I'm definitely looking forward to learning more.

welcome! i'm still getting use to mine too got it about the same time. '07 DC trd off road. 4x4. and yet some DB keyed her yesterday. i suspect it someone i know. i don't really have many people that hate me, that i know of. i can think of maybe 6. and i can only think of 1 person that hates me bad a nuff to do it. and she don't even know i have a truck now. unless she saw me get out. but i'm trying to find out who and if i so i'm probably going to be the most pissed off 19 y/o you have ever seen. i can kinda see the one line on front passenger door from like 10 feet away.

and last year about the same time. are scion XB got keyed (not that bad. can see it from 8 feet) and thats what i was driving than. i had suspected like 4 people on that one. but i was not as pissed as i am now.
