    Hey, I'm Devin and I'm a young Tacoma owner. I came here in hopes of getting some advice and learning about from experienced Tacoma owners before I go and blow my cash... So hopefully I can do that! I'm not new to foruming, but I've never joined a Tacoma forum.

    I'm on my second Tacoma (First truck was a 2.7L Manual, it couldn't haul what I needed, :/ ) I've currently got a 2007 4.0L V6 Double Cab and have taken an interest in tuning, so hey, everybody!

    welcome from the big AK! ah the CAI question. i have'nt put one in the tacoma but in my previous trucks i had K&N CAI on them but the butt dyno really couldn't tell any gains, there is small gain but not noticeable, it will sound alittle louder. IMO after said mods like CAI, headers, exhaust whats the point if you cant tune them to get the full benefit. my last truck was a titan and i had "uprev" a kick ass tuner that you could run 0-60 runs after a mod, send the pdf file to uprev and they would tune it send the file back to you and then you flashed the new tune to your truck and you could tell a difference. I don't think there is any tuning chip available unless you turbo or supercharge these trucks.

    Well, dang... So what would you recommend I do to my truck? Aside from Super/Turbo charging... I can't afford that yet, lol. My future goals are to get a CAI, performance exhausts, and a chip.
