Hi guys.... Great site - just got my 07 Tacoma about 2 weeks ago. I love it. I had to leave my 02 Avalanche, I couldnt afford the gas ( 12 MPG ) ouch:mad: I am getting about 20 city, 25 HWY in my 07 2WD access cab. I loved the room in the Chevy, but couldnt drive it. I can drive all i want now, and this truck has more room in it then I thought it would. I am a big guy: 6' 2" about 275 and I still have room. I plan on keeping this baby for a long time. Glad to be part of the club. I will be keeping an eye on this site. I like to add on to my trucks. Already added bug shield, window tint and window vent shades. Looking to add fog lights, it didnt come with them. Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks for the help...

    Welcome.
Nice to almost double your gas mileage.
Didn't realize the Avalanche got such bad gas mileage.
Of course my FJ Cruiser only gets around 17 but the Tacoma kind of makes up for it.

Welcome to TW. I'm surprised your Avalanche got such low mileage as well, my mother has one and gets 16-17; no matter though you got a better truck now.

Thanks guys for the welcome... I would get 12 mpg on the chevy with the A/C on, about 14-15 without it and at best 18 on the Hwy. I loved the size of the avalanche, but not the cost... Anyway, I love the Taco..
