    You got that right. Where this new overseas/international Ranger is a mid-size, it would compete with the base F-150. The Ranger replacement in North America is the Transit intercity cargo van. Ford found (from what I have read elsewhere) that most Ranger sales were as fleet vehicles, and the Transit fills that need better than the current model Ranger.
