    Hi everyone, I am delighted to see that there is a forum dedicated to tacomas, i will be reading a lot! I just welcomed to the family a 2011 Tacoma Double Cab SB w/ TRD offroad package. I absolutely love the truck and can't wait to take it offroad!

    I am going to be using the vehicle as a commuter/ pleasure vehicle so I will be researching some ways to increase the mpg. Also I'm interested in installing a front bull bar.

    BTW, those are my super manly dogs, Bella my cocker spaniel and Nube (cloud in spanish) my wife's Bichon. haha!

    Good tip, I love the avid light bar. Has anybody found ways to use this with a front license plate? Regardless, this is now on my wishlist.

    Also, new Questions:

    1. does anybody have any tips on where to buy a metal grill? I'm not that fond of my plastic "chrome" grill and would like something made of metal and not some flimsy..

    2. also the 2011 tacoma has 2 small storage boxes in the back of the bed (1 on each side) . has anybody seen locks i can purchase for them or lockable doors for these boxes?

    3. Anybody have tips for good protection against bugs, rocks etc from semis and on highway? Just the hood protector good enough ( i have not seen a bra for the tacoma i like although the black leather wouldn't be so visible with my black truck)
