Hey guys. Don't flame me too hard for owning Ford Trucks my whole life. However, I've always been a fan of Toyota trucks, the early 4 runners and the 22R was just about the best 4 cyl ever built. I have wheeled with enough Toyota truck to know they are awesome off road vehicles as well. Have I got you guys all buttered up yet? Good.

Unfortunately I did not buy a 4x4 Yota yet... because I will buy something much older and build it up when the time and cash flow are correct. That will Either be an Early Bronco or a 4Runner and most likely on 36" or 38" Swampers.

I did recently buy a 2005 Xrunner. The power is decent and I love the handling. I keep pushing it harder and it hasn't left me in an uncontrollable situation yet. It almost seems strange how hard it is to get the ass end out of shape for a pick-up. Despite some complaints about the many TSB's and my shitty shifting transmission I do love the truck. Hopefully the dealership will solve everything soon. I am looking forward to the expiration of the warranty so I can add a turbo or a super charger.

It looks like every other Xrunner: http://www.kc2sho.com/images/05xrunner/

Thanks for the forums. I'm sure you'll find me milling about here on occasion. Please check out my towing thread in the 2nd Gen forum.
