just thought I'd say hi. I'm picking up my white '07 double cab TRD offroad on Monday or Tuesday, depends on when they finish putting the leather in it. I'll post up some pics after I pick up the truck.

been there, done that. I've already ordered the installation kit, so I can put my radio in. As soon as I get the truck, I will build a sub box and amp rack for behind the seats and get the radio in, then I will probably do an intake (Air-raid), exhaust (Magnaflow), N-Fab step bars, and a grill guard with some Hella Black Magic driving lights in the next month or so.

black, with a black grille guard. I'm not a big fan of chrome and there's a white one here with them in white and I think it looks like crap. I'll put some pictures up of it after I pick it up, which is hopefully tomorrow, just depends on how backed up the upholstery shop is.

Welcome to TW, Tommy! I bought my truck in Houston in January when I still lived there.

Your truck sounds like it is going to be awesome once you are done. I can't wait to see the pics.

    Cheers!

I picked up the truck last night, the leather looks awesome. I will take some pics tomorrow and get them on here. I just got done putting in a new head unit so I can have my Sirius, and now I need to go get a sub box, so I can put my Kicker Comp's in and be done with the sound system!!!! I am going to get the bars after I get paid on Friday, and the guard and lights for my birthday. Oh yeah, I already took off the mud flaps too, I was afraid they would get ripped off the second the truck leaves the pavement. I can't wait to head to the deer lease and see how it gets around in the mud!!!

WOW! That leather looks great. It looks like it was meant to be there from the begining. Is that the Sosche dash kit for your Kenwood?

how much did the leather cost? was it done by the dealer or was it after market? Did you put a deer guard on yet? I have been looking for some insight on good makes.

This is a great looking dash kit. I looked at ********* briefly for it but didn't find it. What did it cost you?

    Did you install it yourself?

And how did you manage the antenna for Sirius?

I had the leather done through the dealer at a place here in Houston, the retail cost was $1795. No guard yet, still trying to find one I like, looking for something that will protect the bottom part of the bumper, not just the grille and headlights. I think the dash kit was about $35 from them, and I installed it myself. Took about an hour, it was a very easy install. I ran the antenna in through the 3rd brake light and tucked it under the headliner and inside the plastic trim piece down the side. I still haven't got the box built for the rest of the stereo, but the guy I was building it with had a baby and we just haven't had time to get it done. You can actually get that scosche kit at most local stereo shops for about the same price as *********. I found it here locally after I bought it from them. The advantage to ********* is it comes with all the connectors, wire strippers, wiring harness, etc. It had everything needed for the installation, even a screwdriver/nutdriver set.
