I've had four Celicas, a Solara and a Camry but this is my first Tacoma. I just found out it's got a problem but I'll post that in the appropriate section.

I am really excited....I found a certified Toyota mechanic in Gold Hill, Oregon who has agreed to be my guide as I do the wrenching myself so I can save some money (and also make sure the work is done right)! My "new" used Tacoma needs valve guide seals so I'm pullin' the heads and fixin' it myself! Wow! I haven't done this for many years. It's a V6 and I'm told its a lot of work. Just a few more bolts, the way I look at it! I'm really exited about it. And I get to keep my truck instead of selling it on Craigslist for less than I paid for it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well.

Thanks to everyone who sent me "welcome" posts!
