    Greetings all,

I have finally gotten tired of the exceptionally crappy product which is my Dodge Dakota after 10 years, 1.5 transmissions (the other half is on the way out), three master cylinders, three recalls, two sets of carpet, repeated electronics failures....well, you get the picture.

I'm ready to make the smart choice and get a Tacoma and am looking for insight into what I should or shouldn't be looking for when shopping around.

So if anyone has any intel, or can direct me to the appropriate forum to request it, I'd appreciate it.

    Cheers,

I meant issues with Tacomas, things to watch out for. Any particular signs of particular wear, stuff like that.

I'm reasonably set on a used late model Access Cab 4x4 V6 manual that I can convert to diesel after a couple hundred thousand miles.
