26K OTD yah or nay? will be my first taco

    Hi all,

    Got a call from a dealer here in socal stated that he would accept 26K for 2011 Double Cab LB v6 4x2 prerunner with sr5 package. sticker price was $28,358
    should I go for it continue shop around?

    prob not a TRD with sticker of 28.

    but op, you might be able to get a little more off but dont blow off that price still pretty good

    I got my 2011 DCSB PreRunner TRD Off-Road for right around $25,099 OTD (I paid tags fee separately).

    Taxes very well could be higher out there and there may be other fees that I don't know about, but as it sits right now, I would get them to knock off $1,000.

    This seems to be a bit much for a 4x2, and then you still have to add tax and tags. I got my 4x4 TRD sport for a little over 30K with taxes and tags.

    He said $26k OTD, so I am hoping he means that.

    If this is $26k for just the truck...you are WAY overpaying.

    just the v6 double cab LB and the cheapest package, if I remember correctly at 1800.

    yes 26k out the door included (tax= 8.75%) and fee.

    so I should shop around and aim for 25k out the door?

    thanks god i didn't pull the trigger.
