ball joint issue

I had a blower ball joint go out on my 95 tacoma . when I purchased a new one the mounting bolts wont quite line up with the holes in the knuckle. is this just one of those thing where I need to get a new knuckle or order a new ball joint assmbly. ?

Are you sure you bought the correct ball joints for your truck? Did you get it from the dealer (OEM) or aftermarket (Napa, etc)?

 

Also check if the passenger side BJ and the driver side BJ's are the same, You may have to get specific drv or pass side BJ's

Good possibility it's right or left difference.
Or maybe 5 or 6 lug difference.

 

sometimes the bolts are two small or a little different if you got aftermarket ones i had to reuse my bolts because the ones that came with the ball joints didnt work and it striped one of the holes.
