    2012 Access 2.7 auto
    Hello folks,
Saturday I bought my first new truck, a 2012 Tacoma Access 2.7 automatic with SR5 package. It had 12 miles on it, now 65. in a couple of weeks it will have over 5000miles on it as I am driving to CA to pick up a motorcycle. I hope it is as good a hauler as my old Chevy S10.

When I first got my 4cyl 2011 I though the engine sucked after coming from a v8 4runner. well compared to that the engine does suck. But it hauls just fine I had the bed fully loaded with cylinder blocks the other day and it did just fine. A bike wont weight nearly as much

Thanks for the replies. Sorry, no pics of a 426 hemi- just a dream to me when I was young!!
I will let you know how the 2.7 works after haulin a bike cross-country very soon. I was thinking about the gas mileage when I bought it. My little S10 would get 28MPG on the road- hope I can equal that.

Ya I dont think your going to get 28 mpg. My truck is all stock orginal tires. I does have a cover on the back that weights maybe 40 pounds? I am lucky if I get 22 on a good day.
