New to Forum & Toyota

    Hello and good health to everyone,

    As of this evening I became a new owner of a 09 Tacoma PreRunner
    4x2. Traded a 07 Nissan Versa for it. Good car but I missed not having
    a truck. Before I owned the Versa a 95 Dodge Ram 4x4 was what I drove.
    And also had 87 Dodge Dakota 4x2 at the same time. Moving back in time
    I owned a 79 Ford 3/4 ton 4x2, motor seized in it, add a 76 Ford 4x2 to the
    mix as well. By far this truck has more features than anything I owned and I
    took an instant total liking for this truck during the test drive. I now would
    like to learn more about the Tacoma and this forum. Thank You

    Good Evening Folks

    Thanks to all for a warm welcome. I live about twenty miles away from Philadelphia and
    within five miles of Valley Forge Park. The color of my truck is Magnetic Gray Metallic.
    I think I made a mistake when I described it as a PreRunner. My truck is a 4x2 access
    cab. My apologys as I am still getting to know this beauty. As to why I bought the Versa, I looked at this car as more of a minivan and that I could use it as a substitute for a truck. I was wrong a car is a car and a van is a van but to me a truck once owned gets in the blood or the spirit but there is no substitute for a truck, unless it is another truck.
