    Hello.

    I've been a Toyota owner for many years but it's been mostly 4runners with a couple of LandCruisers and cars mixed in. This weekend i brought my first Tacoma home and I'm really enjoying it.

    It is a high mileage truck so it has its issues and thats why i signed up here. I'll be lifting it mildly. I basically want just enough lift to fit 33's while retaining my ride quality. I'll be using the search button a lot while i research problems and opinions!

    Anyway, here's a picture of the truck with the other toys in the background.

    Thanks for all the warm welcomes!

    The mileage question is tricky. I bought the truck with 199k miles. Long story short, i made it a few miles from the dealership and wound up having to replace the engine. So i now have a truck with 199k and an engine with 56k. Its been a headache, but I'm still happy with what i paid for the truck and new engine (the dealership covered a lot of it). Its the exact truck i wanted and i knew going in i was taking a risk on a high mileage truck.

    The 4runner in the background has ~320k miles so 200k almost seemed new :)
