I got a new Tacoma in April. This is my first Toyota, and I am very happy with it. It is a four door 4X2. A gal like me doesn't need a 4WD. It is speedway blue. I love the hood scoop. It's SEXXXXXY!

I chose the color because it is very rare in Mississippi. I only see one or two of those a week. I went to Atlanta last weekend and there are MANY!

I work in valet at a casino, so I drive all kinds of vehicles each day. I love seeing the Tacoma's come in! I think they all look great, especially with that hood scoop. With that, they look good in any color!

I will take some pictures of it ASAP. I am not a computer whiz, so I don't know if I'll be able to get them on here or not!!!!!

    Thank you!

I live in Philadelphia, but I know a little about the Biloxi/Gulfport area. I am originally from a small town about two hours north of the B/G area.

I am thinking about a bull bar. I think I would prefer a black one as opposed to a chrome bull bar. What do you, or anyone else, think about it? I just think that a black one will look better with the speedway blue color.

The only things I've added to the truck thus far are running boards, a hood vent, and window visors.

I have to get some pictures up. It is on my "to do list" for tomorrow!

    Hey Rick!

A car jockey! I've never heard it described like that before. I must mention that to all my coworkers!

I can't imagine what you must've made in tips in Vegas!! I do quite well here, but I would love to give it a shot in Vegas!

what color are your running boards?? if they are chrome or stainless, imo, the stainless bull bar would look nice. unless you have running boards that are painted to match your truck.....black will look good. but either way, i think it will look great!!! im about to get a stainless aries bull bar for my silver prerunner...........ahhhhhh, my b-day is taking too long to get here:D!

Welcome to TW and congratulations on picking an excellent truck!

I spent the better part of my childhood in between Bay St. Louis and Brandon Mississippi.

In between high school and college I moved back and worked at Grand Casino Gulfport as, you guessed it, a valet!!! I was on graves.

If you ever see a picture of the pink Grand Valet van in front of the "you could win this!!!" sign
    - That is me in the driver's seat.

Hope all is well in Mississippi.

    OMG!

I can't believe there are at least three members on this site who have worked in valet! ....And now we all own Tacomas!

I actually live about 50 mins. from Brandon. I have lived in several different cities in MS......Waynesboro, Hattiesburg, Meridian, and now Philadelphia! I often visit the websites of the casinos in the Gulfport/Biloxi area looking at job openings. I sometimes think of moving to the coast. It's just so much more expensive there than it is here!

    Have a great day 007!

Yeah, I moved away for college and couldn't find a job that would pay well enough in the area for me to live there again.

That and after Katrina most of my family in the area lost everything. I knew it could happen, but I never thought it would. Everything I knew is gone, and everyone I know is scarred. :(
