Long time lurker about to buy

Well I have lurked around these forums for quite a while and have finally decided on the Tacoma. Now all that remains is getting a good deal. Here is hoping I am riding in a new 2012 DBL CB LB 4x4 in Nautical Blue by the end of this upcoming week. Also thanks to this wonderful forum for providing so much information.

Well I was looking at a 2012 Double Cab Long Box TRD Sport in Nautical Blue. But instead got an insane deal on a 2011 Double Cab Short Bed SR5 in Black. The only thing I really wanted from the 2012 was the standard blue tooth but the dealer threw in the blue logic and a remote start for the 2011 so I couldnt say no. The TRD package wasnt really that big of a deal to me and as much as I love the Blue, Black was my 2nd choice and such a huge deal I couldnt say no.

 

Ya thats what I figured, I guess I got pulled in by the shiny wheels and the sticker. But when I sat down and looked at what the options actually were and then the price there was just no way I could justify it. The only thing I would actually get are 17" rims, but even then I would probably go aftermarket.

When I actually thought about it I really have never had or really ever need most of the creature comforts that go into most modern cars.
