    Hi all,

I am originally from the UK & moved to Oxford MS permanently in 2008. Up till now I have been using my wife's car and my road bike to get around but have been looking for a compact truck for the last few weeks

I finally got this Tacoma last night for a great price:

It needs some cosmetic work and I wasn't crazy about the color at first but it is in perfect condition mechanically. I have posted some questions about the wheels here and have found a bunch of really helpful info in the forums so far.

    Looking forward to learning more!

In that case, welcome to both TW and the USA. Somehow, I suspect there's a story behind your move from the UK to Mississippi. After all, it's not exactly like a quick move across town.

You can't beat them! Have you been watching Life's Too Short? I feel like it is a Warwick is a bit of a Brent ripoff but it is still good.

So are you in the states now?

As a couple of you have asked, you can probably guess there is a woman involved. I came here first in 2004 when I was at college and met my wife. After a few years back and forth, we settled here. It's a great little town if any of you get the chance to visit.

cmack, they are actually holding the olympic mountain biking in my town. I will probably be going back in the summer but probably a month or so before the olympics start.

Also, a quick question, I posted the pic of my new truck before but here it is again:

    http://confitdesign.com/images/profile.jpg

What do you honestly think of the color? I knew I wanted a Taco and this was such a great price that after checking it our mechanically, I jumped on it. It was only when I woke up yesterday morning I thought "It's Purple"...Still not sure if I'm liking the color. I have not yet signed the title so I could feasibly sell it on and wait for a black one to come up which would be ideal. I'm not really into standing out from the crowd but I could also just be feeling a twang of buyers remorse.
