New to the truck world

Hey everybody,

I got my truck in august and just heard about Tacomaworld yesterday. This is my first truck, but not my first toyota. my first car was my parent's 1990 camry that they sold to me, and i abused it, then sold it when it had 200,000+ miles after it was stolen and recovered. second car i got into modding with and that was my Matrix XRS. she had exhaust, intake, front fender, wheels, clutch, front strut bar, rear sway bar, and polyurethane bushings as aftermarket, motor had spun rod bearing at 89000 miles and was factory rebuilt with a new short block. tranny took a dump on me and had to be replaced at 123k. I loved that car, but i got in a wreck and totaled her. Now I have an 11 access cab 4 cylinder 4x4 and got a tow package put on her for christmas. she has helped me to take down a couple trees, and drag them home with a trailer, gone off roading and gotten stuck in a stream, and played in the snow in 2wd and still had a hard time losing traction.

I am also on Matrix Owners, Toyota Syndicate NW, and I used to check Toyota Nation as well, but haven't in awhile.

I bought this truck in Aug, as well as my first house, then got married in Sept, so it was a busy time then. Wifey & I agreed that with a bigger property (3.28 acres), we were going to need a truck and we felt that we were abusing her parents using their truck (08 tacoma quad cab v6 auto 2wd). Next big purchase plans are for a small horse trailer, more fencing to make more pasture for the horse, and a pistol.
